No, that's not what I want...  ::)
What you're doing is substituting post creator name for denouncer name. I want to keep the post creator name, but the visible name, not the real name.

Note that "Fragha" and "FragaCampos" are the same user, but the first name is de post creator and the second is de denouncer.

Hope this makes any sense.

Ok, I want to show the visible name like in "FragaCampos" not the real name as in "Fragha".

Thank you.  ;)

Ok, but unless you can say exactly how and where I put that, I have no knowledge to do it.  :(

I already tried to look for those, but the template uses $infor['posterhref'].
I don't know php but I think posterhref is defined has '<a href="'$scripturl .'?action=profile;u='$row['id_member'] .'">'.$row['poster_name'].'</a>';

I don't believe I can change "poster_name" variable...

Hola.

How can I show the visible name of the author of the topic instead of showing the real name in the list and MP?

This is a stupendous mod. Congratulations for this nice job!

Yes, that first problem is solved. The other one is really strange. I'll see if it happens with other users.

That would be a nice addition to the next update. ;)

Hello again.

I upgraded my forum in the same server from SMF 1.1.18 to SMF 2.0.4 and I installed this mod and everything went fine.
But when i choose a board to view in the index page I get the following error:

"Method Not Implemented
GET to /index.php not supported.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

What's the problem here?

Gracias.

PS: Ok, I managed to correct this following these instructions:

I had uninstalled it but I'm going to install this version and see how it goes.
As soon as I open the forum, I'll warn you.

Gracias.

PS: OK, i installed this version and the first problem disappeared, but the second one persists. Whenever I do a quickedit with and change something in the post, the link stops working and page goes to the top. But I noticed that if i go to other page and come back to the first one, everything is fine. So it must be something temporary with javascrip or something. Nothing realy serious.

PS2: I noticed another bug (?) in bbcuserinfoV2.

As you can see here, the age says 2013, but the profile of "ibbis" as no age defined. The strange thing is there are other users without a defined age, and this doesn't happen to them.
Another thing is the green baloon. It always shows the im_on.gif. Is it possible to show im_on and im_off, like in the normal profile?

I'm using User Info 2 on SMF 2.0.4.

I don't have a test or live forum yet. I'm in maintenance mode.
Do you need some information or do you want to wait till I open my forum?

Hola.

I've installed this mod, but I have two problems:
1. - When I click in the user link the windows opens but I get a strange string above the name

2.- When I do a quick edit in a message with a user tag, if I save the link won't work anymore.

Can someone help me on this?
Gracias.

Hello.

I've just installed this mod on SMF 2.0.3 but there's no additional group listed on the profile when we open a topic, only the primary group, as default.
Am I missing something?

Hola.

Thank you very much for this mod. I love it and it's very important for my forum.

Unfortunately, it has a bug.
When the topic title has special characters like À, Í, ã, ô, etc., the letters in the index get duplicated.

For example:
If I have a topic called "À Procura do Éden", the index gets two "Letter A" lists, one for the topics with special characters like "À" and another for the topics started with A but without special characters.

How can I change this?

PS: I'm on localhost testing my mods to upggrade to SMF 2
