After installing and messing with the Tagging System mod - I found a new problem - when creating a new message, it is not saving the tags. You can modify the message afterwards and add tags, but when saving the original message - no tags are saved.

This is even happening on fresh installs of SMF 2.0.8 with the default curve theme and no other mods installed.

I didn't notice it on my main site because I was just going through old posts and adding tags, which works fine; it's only when you create a new message that the tags are not saved. The problem seems to occur most in Chrome and not IE.

Anyone else have this problem?

Found another issue - when the 'tags are required' option is checked and you edit a reply to a post, it will not let you save the modified post; it prompts you with an error box saying 'tags are required' - even though it's not the first message and the tagging input box isn't present.

To replicate the problem;

1. Turn on the 'require tags' option
2. Create a message with tags
3. Reply to the 1st post
4. Edit the reply and try to save it.
